Geocaching is a great outdoor activity. Hunting and placing geocaches is a blast. We all need reasons to get out and explore the outdoors. Most of my Caches are in South Carolina but the first caches I sought and placed are in Georgia.
I discovered geocaching by reading an article on my handspring visor while waiting on queue at my bank. This was back in November of 2000. After Christmas I had my own Yellow Garmin eTrex and a desire to hunt and place geocaches.
