One of my good friends T. Jess Bowers,III. and I first hunted two North Georgia geocaches together on a balmy 18 degree snowing December 31st. We hunted the Iron Horse and Rock Town geocaches. We were unsuccessful at finding the cache but both areas were wonderful. We placed Dukes Creek Falls, Headwaters of the Chatahoochee, and the DeSoto Falls Cache.
I moved back to South Carolina and put out a few geocaches of my own. Sesqui, Oconee, Where the Tigers Play, and the two that are now archived ( Stumpy the Cache, and The Naked Cache ). The Naked Cache (Florida) was at the Canaveral National Seashore and removed by someone possibly even los federales. I had a buddy of mine go to get it and the cache had already been removed. Beautiful place! You should go there but watch out for the nekkid people. Doug Samuels helped me put out the cache among the mosquito traps.
Lastly, and most importantly, Angela has put out two caches with me. Our first date was putting out 1st Date Cache and subsequently we placed West Ashley Cache . Angela has moved from Charlestowne and we are working on finding places to put out some more geocaches. Do look for them... There might even be some theme caches... From the 1st Date Cache to the A Modest Proposal Cache , to the Wedding Cache, etc.....Maybe. It is a thought.
